01 About Events & Meetings

An event technology partner. Not a one-size-fits-all platform.

Events & Meetings provides event technology and operational expertise to organizations and professionals responsible for planning and delivering events.

Our approach is platform agnostic. Depending on the requirements of an engagement, we may work with existing event platforms, registration systems, event applications, engagement technology, onsite systems, and analytics tools.

The specific services available to a client will depend on the agreed project scope, technical requirements, third-party systems, and any applicable service agreement.

Information on this website describes our general capabilities and approach. It does not automatically constitute an offer to provide a particular service or a guarantee that every service is available for every event.

02 Acceptance of These Terms

Using our website means understanding the rules that apply.

These Terms of Service apply to your access to and use of the E&M website, including its pages, published content, forms, and other website features. By using the website, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and agree to comply with them, subject to applicable law.

If you access the website on behalf of a company or other organization, you are responsible for ensuring that you are authorized to act on its behalf when submitting information or making enquiries.

Additional terms may apply when you engage E&M for services, use a third-party event platform, or enter into a separate agreement with us. Where applicable, those terms should be reviewed alongside this document.

03 Permitted Use of the Website

Use the website responsibly. Respect the systems and people behind it.

You may access and use our website for lawful purposes, including learning about E&M, reviewing our services, contacting our team, and exploring potential business engagements.

When using the website, you agree not to:

Misuse Website Functionality

Attempt to interfere with website operations, compromise security, disrupt availability, or gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or information.

Submit Misleading Information

Provide information that is knowingly false, misleading, fraudulent, or submitted without appropriate authority.

Introduce Malicious Material

Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code, harmful files, or other material intended to damage or disrupt systems.

Violate Laws or Rights

Use the website in a way that infringes applicable laws, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or the rights of others.

Conduct Unauthorized Testing

Attempt to probe, scan, bypass, or test the security of our website or infrastructure without appropriate authorization.

We reserve the right to take reasonable action to protect our website, systems, users, and business interests where misuse is identified, subject to applicable law.

04 Our Services

Every engagement starts with the requirements of the event.

E&M provides event technology and operational support based on the needs of each organization and event. Depending on the agreed scope, our services may include:

Event Planning & Technology Configuration

Understanding event requirements and configuring relevant technology and workflows.

Registration & Attendee Management

Supporting registration processes, attendee information, communications, and related workflows.

Event Applications & Engagement

Supporting event apps, attendee engagement tools, networking features, and event information.

Virtual & Hybrid Event Technology

Supporting technology environments for events involving remote and in-person participation.

Onsite Event Technology

Supporting check-in, badge printing, attendee workflows, and related technology requirements.

Data & Analytics

Supporting event reporting, feedback, and the use of relevant event information.

The availability and scope of any service will depend on the specific engagement. A service description on this website does not guarantee that the service is suitable or available for every project.

05 Client Engagements & Service Agreements

The website introduces our capabilities. The agreement defines the work.

If you engage E&M for a project, the applicable proposal, statement of work, service agreement, or other written contract should define the specific terms of that engagement. Depending on the project, this may include:

Scope of Services

The services to be provided, deliverables, responsibilities, and agreed exclusions.

Fees & Payment

Applicable fees, payment schedules, taxes, invoicing requirements, and any agreed additional costs.

Timelines & Dependencies

Project milestones, delivery schedules, client responsibilities, approvals, and dependencies on third-party providers.

Changes & Additional Work

The process for requesting changes to the agreed scope and determining any related fees or timeline adjustments.

Cancellation & Termination

The conditions under which an engagement may be postponed, cancelled, suspended, or terminated.

Confidentiality & Data Handling

The requirements applicable to confidential information, personal data, and information shared during the engagement.

The applicable agreement should be reviewed before work begins. Where these website terms conflict with a signed service agreement concerning the specific services provided, the service agreement will govern that engagement to the extent of the conflict, unless otherwise stated or required by law.

No project-specific fees, deliverables, or timelines are established merely by visiting this website or submitting an enquiry.

06 Client Responsibilities

Successful delivery requires cooperation on both sides.

E&M works alongside internal event teams, agencies, clients, and other partners. Effective delivery may depend on information, decisions, access, and approvals provided by the client. Depending on the engagement, clients may be responsible for:

Providing Accurate Information

Supplying accurate event details, requirements, attendee information, and other materials necessary for the agreed services.

Securing Appropriate Permissions

Ensuring they have the necessary rights, permissions, and lawful authority to provide information, content, images, attendee lists, or other materials to E&M.

Reviewing & Approving Deliverables

Reviewing configurations, content, workflows, and other deliverables within agreed timelines.

Managing Internal Decisions

Providing appropriate contacts, approvals, and decisions required to keep the project moving.

Managing Third-Party Relationships

Maintaining any required accounts, licenses, permissions, or agreements with third-party platforms unless the applicable service agreement states otherwise.

Meeting Legal Obligations

Ensuring that their event activities and instructions comply with applicable laws and contractual requirements, including relevant privacy and data protection obligations.

Specific responsibilities will depend on the project agreement and the roles of the parties involved.

07 Third-Party Platforms & Services

We work across platforms. We do not control every platform.

E&M may work with third-party event technology platforms, software, hosting providers, communication tools, analytics services, and other external systems. These services may have their own terms, privacy policies, licensing requirements, technical limitations, and availability conditions.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, E&M does not own or control third-party platforms and cannot independently guarantee their availability, functionality, security, pricing, or continued operation.

Third-party services may change their features, policies, integrations, or pricing. They may also experience outages or technical issues outside E&M's reasonable control. Where an engagement depends on third-party technology, the relevant responsibilities and dependencies should be addressed in the applicable service agreement.

Our platform-agnostic approach gives clients flexibility in technology selection. It does not mean E&M controls every platform involved.

08 Intellectual Property

Respect the work. Understand the rights.

Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement, the content published on the E&M website—including text, branding, graphics, design elements, and other original materials—is owned by E&M or used with appropriate permission and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view and use this content for personal or internal business reference. You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit website content without appropriate authorization, except where permitted by law.

The names, logos, and trademarks of third-party platforms referenced on our website belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on the website does not imply ownership by E&M or an endorsement, partnership, or affiliation unless expressly stated.

Intellectual property rights relating to project deliverables, client materials, configurations, documentation, or other work produced during an engagement will be governed by the applicable written agreement.

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to materials they provide to E&M.

09 Privacy & Confidentiality

Information deserves appropriate handling and protection.

Your use of the website is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information.

You can review the policy through the website's Privacy Policy page. When you communicate with E&M or engage our services, you may share confidential business information, event details, attendee information, or other non-public material.

Any confidentiality obligations relating to a client engagement will be governed by the applicable written agreement or other binding obligations.

Please do not submit passwords, payment card information, sensitive personal information, or confidential material through a general enquiry form unless the relevant process is specifically designed and authorized for that purpose.

10 Website Content & Accuracy

Information is provided to inform. It is not a project guarantee.

We aim to keep the information on our website accurate and useful. However, website content may be updated, revised, or removed as our services and business evolve. Descriptions of our capabilities, technology expertise, service categories, and general approach are provided for informational purposes.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, website content does not guarantee a particular outcome, level of performance, business result, search ranking, attendance level, conversion rate, or return on investment.

You should assess the suitability of our services in light of your organization's requirements and the terms of any proposed engagement. Where information is incomplete or you require clarification, please contact our team before relying on it for a specific business decision.

11 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Clear boundaries support responsible expectations.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided on an "as available" basis without guarantees that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or system.

We do not guarantee that all website content will always be complete, current, or free from technical errors. To the extent permitted by law, E&M will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website, including losses involving business interruption, lost opportunities, or loss of data.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law. These terms do not override any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Liability arising from services delivered under a separate client agreement will be governed by that agreement and applicable law.

Nothing in this section is intended to remove legal protections that cannot lawfully be waived.

12 Indemnification

Responsible use includes respecting the rights of others.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, if you use the website unlawfully, misuse its functionality, infringe third-party rights, or breach these terms, you may be responsible for losses or claims arising from that conduct. Any indemnification obligations relating to a client engagement will be determined by the applicable written agreement.

Nothing in this section creates liability that cannot lawfully be imposed or removes any protection available under applicable law.

13 Suspension & Termination

Protecting the website may require restricting access.

We may take reasonable measures to restrict or suspend access to website functionality if necessary to protect the website, its users, our systems, or our legitimate business interests.

Where appropriate and permitted by law, we may investigate suspected misuse, security threats, or violations of these terms. Suspension or restriction of website access does not automatically determine the status of a separate client engagement. Any suspension, termination, or other action concerning contracted services will be governed by the applicable service agreement and relevant law.

14 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Legal matters should be handled through the appropriate process.

These Terms of Service are subject to the laws applicable to E&M and the relevant website use, without overriding any mandatory legal protections that apply to you. Any dispute relating to website use or these terms should first be raised with E&M so the parties can consider whether it can be resolved through good-faith communication. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the applicable legal procedures and jurisdiction will be determined by the relevant law and any valid written agreement between the parties.

Publication requirement: Before these terms are published, E&M must confirm its official legal business identity, applicable governing law, and appropriate jurisdiction. These details should not be assumed from the website's audience or location alone.

15 Changes to These Terms

As our services evolve, our terms may need to evolve too.

We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes in our website, services, business operations, or applicable legal requirements. When changes are made, we will update the Last Updated date displayed at the beginning of this page. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.

Your continued use of the website after revised terms are published will be subject to the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
