Technology changes. Platforms evolve. What matters is making events work.
Every successful event depends on more than a platform, a registration system or a well-designed attendee experience. It depends on the people, decisions, processes and technology working together when it matters most.
At Events & Meetings, our legacy begins with that understanding. Our experience within the event technology ecosystem has shaped how we approach complex events: with practical thinking, platform independence and a clear understanding of the challenges event teams face.
We believe technology should simplify event operations, support the people responsible for delivery and create experiences that work as intended.
Our legacy is not defined by the technology we use. It is defined by how effectively we help people use it.
01 Where Our Legacy Begins
Built from experience. Driven by a better way of working.
Events & Meetings was shaped by firsthand experience within the event technology industry.
Our founders previously worked as Cvent Solution Specialists, helping event teams navigate the technology behind complex events. That experience revealed an important distinction: having access to a platform does not automatically mean every part of an event will work together.
Systems must be configured correctly. Information must move between workflows. Attendees need clear journeys. Event teams need visibility. And the technology must perform when the event goes live. These realities became the foundation of E&M. Rather than building another proprietary event platform, we chose a different path: helping organizations get more from the technology available to them.
Our story began with technology. Our purpose is to make it work better for the people behind every event.
02 The Principle That Guides Us
Technology should serve the event. Never the other way around.
Technology decisions can shape an event long before the first attendee arrives. The platforms selected, registration workflows configured, attendee information collected and engagement tools introduced all influence how the event operates.
But technology should never become the objective in itself. At E&M, we begin by understanding the event, its audience, its operational requirements and what the organization wants to accomplish. We then consider how the appropriate technology can support those needs. That approach keeps the focus where it belongs: on the event and the people responsible for delivering it.
We do not believe in adding complexity simply because a platform makes it possible. We believe in choosing technology with purpose.
03 A Legacy of Platform Independence
The right solution matters more than the platform behind it.
The event technology landscape continues to evolve. Different platforms offer different capabilities, and organizations often have existing systems that already support important parts of their event operations.
A technology partner should be able to work within that reality. E&M is platform agnostic by design. We do not require every client to adopt the same technology environment. Instead, we work to understand existing platforms, identify requirements and determine how the relevant systems and workflows can support the event.
This philosophy gives organizations greater flexibility in how they approach event technology. It also reflects one of our core beliefs: the technology should fit the event, the team and the objectives—not force them into a predetermined model.
Our commitment is to the right approach, not to a single platform.
→Explore Our Platforms04 The Experience Behind the Work
Experience is valuable when it helps prevent the next problem.
Complex events leave little room for avoidable technology issues. A registration workflow that creates friction, information that fails to move correctly or a system that has not been adequately tested can affect the entire attendee experience. Experience helps teams recognize these risks earlier and approach implementation with greater care.
E&M brings together event technology knowledge and an operational understanding of what happens when systems meet real-world event conditions.
Our work is guided by practical questions:
What needs to happen?
Who depends on this information?
How will the workflow perform under pressure?
What needs to be tested before the event begins?
This perspective helps keep technology decisions connected to the realities of event delivery.
Experience is not simply knowing what a platform can do. It is understanding what an event requires it to do.
05 The Impact We Aim to Create
Better-connected technology. More capable event teams.
The value of event technology should extend beyond the systems themselves. When technology is planned and managed effectively, event teams can spend less time dealing with disconnected workflows and more time focusing on the objectives of the event. E&M aims to create value in several ways.
Greater Operational Clarity
Connect the technology and workflows that support planning, registration, attendee management, event execution and reporting.
More Connected Attendee Experiences
Help attendees move through registration, event information, engagement and participation with fewer unnecessary obstacles.
Greater Flexibility
Work with suitable existing platforms and technology environments instead of imposing a single solution.
Better Use of Event Information
Help teams make relevant registration, engagement and post-event data more useful for reporting and future planning.
Stronger Internal Teams
Provide specialized technology expertise that complements the work of internal event departments and their partners.
The impact we value is practical: technology that helps teams deliver better-organized events and more connected experiences.
06 The People Behind the Technology
Systems make events possible. People make them meaningful.
Behind every event platform is a team responsible for decisions, configuration, coordination and execution.
At E&M, our experience within the event technology ecosystem shapes how we approach that responsibility. We believe effective technology support begins with listening, understanding the requirements and making informed decisions.
We work alongside event professionals rather than attempting to replace their knowledge or control their events. The organization brings its objectives, relationships and event strategy. E&M brings event technology expertise and operational support that can help put those plans into practice.
This partnership is central to how we work.
We are here to strengthen the team behind the event—not to become another layer between the team and its objectives.
07 Our Commitment to the Event Lifecycle
The work begins before the event. The responsibility extends beyond it.
An event is a sequence of connected decisions and experiences. Planning establishes the requirements. Configuration prepares the technology. Registration begins the attendee journey. Execution puts the systems and workflows into practice. Post-event reporting helps teams understand the results. E&M considers these stages as part of one wider event lifecycle.
Plan
Understand the event objectives, audience, workflows and technology requirements.
Configure
Prepare the relevant platforms and systems around the agreed requirements.
Connect
Coordinate the technology, information and workflows that need to work together.
Support
Help the technology perform during event execution, including onsite delivery where required.
Measure
Support the use of event data, feedback and analytics to inform reporting and future planning.
Our approach recognizes that the quality of the event depends on how well its different stages work together.

A few principles. One consistent way of working.
Your Team Stays in Control
We work as an extension of your internal event team. Your organization retains ownership of its event objectives and decisions.
Your Platform Should Fit Your Needs
We remain platform agnostic and work around the technology environment that makes sense for the event.
Technology Must Have a Purpose
Every tool, workflow and integration should serve a practical requirement or improve the event experience.
The Attendee Experience Matters
Technology should make registration, participation, information access and engagement easier—not introduce unnecessary friction.
Preparation Makes a Difference
Understanding requirements, configuring systems and testing workflows before an event can help teams identify potential issues earlier.
Measurement Should Inform Improvement
Relevant event information and feedback can help teams understand performance and make better-informed decisions for future programs.
These principles shape our decisions, our partnerships and the way we approach every event.
09 Looking Ahead
The future of events will change. Our principles will remain.
Event technology will continue to evolve. New platforms, new formats, new integrations and changing attendee expectations will influence how organizations plan and deliver events. The challenge will not simply be adopting the latest technology. It will be understanding which developments genuinely improve event operations and attendee experiences.
E&M intends to remain focused on that distinction. We will continue to approach event technology with curiosity, practical thinking and an understanding of the people who depend on it. Our focus is not on predicting every change in the industry. It is on helping event teams navigate change without losing sight of what their events need to accomplish.
As the technology evolves, our purpose remains the same: help make it work for the event.

11 Our Perspective
The strongest legacy is not what you build. It is what you make possible.
Technology will continue to change. Platforms will improve, event formats will evolve and organizations will discover new ways to bring people together.
But the fundamental requirements of a successful event will remain familiar: clear objectives, coordinated teams, reliable systems and experiences that work for the people attending.
We believe event technology should support those requirements rather than distract from them.
That belief influences how we evaluate platforms, approach implementation, work with event teams and think about the role technology plays in the wider experience.
We want to be remembered for making complex technology easier to work with—and for helping event teams focus on what matters most.
12 The Legacy We Intend to Build
A reputation earned through the work. An approach built to last.
A meaningful legacy is not created through statements alone. It develops through the decisions made, the partnerships built and the work delivered over time.
For Events & Meetings, that means remaining committed to platform independence, practical event technology expertise and a collaborative approach to event operations.
It means understanding the event before recommending the technology. It means respecting the experience of internal teams. And it means recognizing that every event has its own requirements, pressures and objectives.
Our experience gives us a foundation. Our principles guide our work. The relationships we build and the value we create will shape what comes next.
We are building more than a technology service.
We are building a way of working that puts the event first.
